The Missions Team invites you to make every Sunday during Lent a Food Shelf Sunday. Bring in non-perishable food or personal items each week between February 18 and April 2 to help keep their shelves stocked. Or, consider donating an item for each day of Lent - 40 days = 40 much-needed items. Bring your donations to church on Sundays or fill a box at home. Bring in your gifts and Missions will deliver them to the Food Shelf. The Food Shelf is always in need of cash donations too. Last year through Project TRISHA, inspired by Tricia Fabros, we were able to give five hundred dollars in cash to students in the Philippines. Because of that gift, one child received a full year scholarship. Fifteen children received complete school supplies, each with a proper school bag, each given the dignity and joy of starting the school year prepared. The Missions Team invites you to help share that love again this year in the Garden of Hearts. Pick a beautiful hand-made flower, place your gift in the donation box, and plant a heart in the garden.
